6 Week Course- Beginning Glassblowing

**************IMPORTANT************ THIS CLASS WILL NOT BE MEETING ON OCTOBER 12th IN OBSERVANCE OF YOM KIPPUR. THE FINAL CLASS WILL BE NOVEMBER 16TH WITH THE MAKE UP DAY OF OCTOBER 23RD Each Course consists of 6 Weeks of Glassblowing. Class will meet for 3 hours once a week and take place on Monday evenings or Saturday mornings for a total of 3 hours. Please check our schedule to see which Course suits your schedule. Working with a professional glassblower to maximize learning and perfecting the skill of blowing glass. This class will focus on all the basics from gathering glass out of the furnace, to shaping it with an array of shop tools and transferring the piece to open up the lip. Focus will be on creating an open vessel ( vase, glass, bowls, etc..) There will be demos and lots of hands-on experience. Our instructors will help you experience the magic of hot glass! This hands-on session allows you to pick and apply colors, twist and turn them if you want, then blow or shape them into a unique and beautiful piece of art glass. This class is limited to 8 people allowing individual attention with an introduction to all aspects of glass blowing. *One make up class is available for those who miss a class. If you are going to miss more then one class, you do forfeit those classes.
